Outlook 2007 Setup

These instructions will help you setup your Outlook 2007 email.

Step 1.

Click on the Tools menu, then select E-mail Accounts. If you do not see either of these options you may need to click on the double arrows at the bottom of the tools menu.

Step 2.

Click New.

Step 3.

Select Internet E-mail and then click Next.

Step 4.

Click Manually configure server settings and then click Next.

Step 5.

Select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or HTTP and then click Next.

Step 6.

In this screen you will complete all of the information required for your email address:

Your name
E-mail Address
Incoming mail server
Outgoing mail server
User Name
Enter how you would like your name appear in messages, ie "Jane Smith"
Enter your full email address, ie "jane.smith@start.ca"
Enter mail.start.ca
Enter mail.start.ca
Enter the email address, ie "jane.smith@start.ca"
Enter the password that has been assigned to this email account
...once all this information is filled in click Next.

Step 7.

Click Finish.
