Take Hwy 400 north to Muskoka Rd 34. Travel east for about 2.3 km. There is a small parking lot located on the south side of the road, just past the bridge. If you turn right immediately after turning into the lot, you are probably still on public property. Please respect the privacy of the house sharing this driveway. Alternatively, park on the other side of the road.

 Description

White's Falls has been partially dammed in order to maintain water levels in Six Mile Lake. As such, the flow through the falls is seasonally variable. The site is still worth visiting all year round. It is located right off Muskoka Rd 34, just a few minutes from Hwy 400. The falls are located along the main road to the Big Chute Marine Railway. White's Falls is named after Joseph Arthur White Sr who settled in the area in the mid-19th century.

This site can be very busy in summer, where the lower flows permit swimmers to play around in the cascades. Most of the year the site is relatively quiet, with a few cars per minute passing along Muskoka Rd 34.
