The Northeast
Waterfall Region covers a large area of the province, including the lands
north from Algonquin Park and east to Sudbury. I have not explored
much of this region, but my research shows that the potential for
waterfalling is very good. The region covers the following counties:
Manitoulin, Parry Sound, Nipissing, Sudbury, and Timiskaming. Note
that the first three counties are included in different regions in the
print version of Waterfalls of
Ontario.
I would be very
happy to hear from anyone who can provide any information about the
waterfalls in this area.
