The Algoma Waterfall Region is centered on the area north of Sault Ste Marie. The region is home to spectacular scenery, more than justifying the long drive. The waterfalls are big, and for the most part unspoiled. A highly recommended trip is the train ride to the Agawa Canyon. Waterfalls are just part of this beautiful landscape. The region covers just Algoma District.

I would be particularly interested in hearing from people who have traveled this region's canoe routes. Many of the better waterfalls are not accessible by road.

Magpie Falls, is also known as Scenic High Falls, and located just outside of Wawa
