From Owen Sound, drive east for about 25 km to 7th line Euphrasia Twp (just before Meaford). Turn right (south) and continue south for about 12 km. Drive up the Niagara Escarpment and watch for the signs for the Bruce Trail. Park your car beside the signs. Walk to the trail on the right (west) side of the road. Follow the trail for about 10-15 minutes. The trail hooks around the upper end of the waterfall gorge, and then swings back around the far side, from where this picture was taken.

Off 7th line Euphrasia Twp, south of Euphrasia-St. Vincent Townline. Park on 7th line at access to Bruce Trail and walk west. Some rocky parts, but no big hills.

 Description

A small waterfall located on the Niagara Escarpment, this waterfall probably only runs during the wetter periods of the year: during spring and fall. The interesting feature here is that the tiny creek has found a way to bypass the falls during low flow. The water follows an underground path through fractures and fissures, exiting the rock 3/4 of the way down the gorge walls. In the photo, you can see a small stream of water leaving the rock in the lower left portion.

Does anyone know if water ever flows over the falls as opposed to just through it?

This is a very scenic portion of the province. The drive through the open, rolling hills is still worth it even if the falls is not running.
