Follow Hwy 11 north to Hwy 141. Go west to just past Ullswater. The falls are about 1 km past Ullswater. They are about 700 m before the turn off to the left that goes to Bent River. These falls are located right to the north of the road. If you are descending the hill from Ullswater, pull off to the side of the road, where there is a small clearing on the outside of the curve. The forest is quite thick and the valley wall is quite steep. If you listen for the falls, you should be able to find your way in. Note: The slope is quite steep and composed of loose soils. Be careful, and take a friend with you to this waterfall.

 Description

This is a nice surprise! And I doubt that many people know it even exists. A pedestrian walking along Highway 141 couldn't miss the dull roar of the creek, but would have a hard time seeing it from the road during any season but winter. The forested slopes that you have to descend are quite steep, and I found the soils to be loose and soft, although not really dangerous. Just be careful descending the slope and you'll be fine. This is a two-part steep cascade, with rapids located downstream. I estimate that each of the two sections of the falls are about 2m high, for a total of about 3.5 to 4m. In mid-May, the discharge was quite good. The sight is quite clean, probably owing to it's seclusion. I imagine that the bugs are pretty intense here in summer.
