| Description | |||||||
|
This isn't a big waterfall - most Waterfalls of Ontario readers will probably only visit on their way up to the bigger, prettier falls in Owen Sound. But this is a nice spot, and as it's only 2 minutes off Hwy 6, it shouldn't be skipped. This is a low, wide cascade, perhaps 3-4 m high and about 12-15 m wide. The falls, though low, is interesting. Some might argue that the footbridge across the dam at the top of the falls ruins the view. However, this is evidence of a town using its natural setting to its advantage by incorporating the falls into a great walking trail. |
