From Sudbury, drive west on Hwy 17 for about 40 km to Lorne Falls Rd. Turn left and keep left until you reach a dead end at a chain link fence, with a bay of water to your right. Walk along the shore to the right, around the fenced area to a rocky point (also a Canoe portage spot) for a distant view of the falls. |

| Description | |||||||
|
This is a medium-sized waterfall that you can see, but not visit. Unfortunately, the waterfall is associated with the Wabagishik Generating Station that supplies power to INCO in Sudbury Access (at least from land) is blocked by a chain link fence. You are able to see the falls from a distance from two locations. The first is from a rocky point about 100 m away, from which I took the above photograph. The second is from a road on the south side of the bay. The view here is no better, although you can see the falls from head on. |
