 Description

This is now nothing more than a narrow, rocky channel connecting Kashe Lake to Bass Lake. I haven't seen this site in years, but remember from my youth that you could navigate a small power boat through the channel.

A map provided by Kashe Lake Online indicates that there is a small falls just about a km north of the village of Housey's Rapids. By driving north along Muskoka Rd 6 for about 1.2 km north of the river crossing, there is a road or trail leading to the west (this may just be a private driveway - if so, please don't trespass). Follow this route for about 800 m, keeping to the left at the intersection (s). The falls is marked at the end of a marshy section of the Kashe River.

Can anyone provide me with any information about this site? Is there a waterfall? Is it public?
