Follow Hwy 11 north to Hwy 141, north of Bracebridge. Drive west for about 18 km to Fish Hatchery Rd. Turn right and drive for about 1 km to the closed Skeleton Lake Fish Hatchery, which is a small group of buildings quite close to the road. Park here and follow the trail across the open field to the woods, and continue to the waterfall |

|
This waterfall is hidden in the woods, but still just a 15-20 minute hike from the road. It is a narrow, steep cascade about 8 m high. Simple, yet pretty, and usually deserted. The nearby fish hatchery was actually closed in 1991. A good trail leads from the road to the falls, and includes several interpretive signs about the surrounding forest, fields and river. |
