Just before the bridge upstream of Healey Falls, turn left on Coles Point Rd, and drive to the end at Crowe River Rd. Turn right on this road and drive a short distance to the Crowe River. | Description | |||||||
|
The Crowe Bridge Rapids are really not much of a waterfall. The largest falls is only about one meter in height, spanning the full width of the Crowe River. The prettiest spot however, is a little upstream, where the river bends and cascades over a gently tilted outrcop of sedimentary rock. The river is bounded by irregular, low cliffs of limestone, making for interesting, though relatively short hiking. |
