Drive north of Sault Ste Marie along Hwy 17 for about 30-40 minutes. Watch for the signs for the Chippewa River, and pull into the parking lot beside the river before crossing the bridge. Follow the path from the parking lot into the woods. This takes you to the crest of the lower falls. Continue along the path, up the short but steep hills to the upper falls. The path continues beyond the uppe falls to much quieter, peaceful reaches of the river. |

| Description | |||||||
|
See the description for Chippewa Falls. This waterfall is found about one hundred metres upstream of the lower falls. The path to the upper falls is a little steep in places, but is relatively short. Once you've made your way up the incline, the rest of the trail upstream is quite gentle. |
