| Description | |||||||
|
A few hundred meters downstream of the main Chedoke Falls, Chedoke Creek falls over another plunge waterfall about 5 m in height. The crest is composed of hard Whirlpool sandstone, while the undercut Queenston Shale is easily visible due to its bright rusty red colour. Some large blocks of sandstone (and dolostone from futher upstream) have crashed to the bottom of the gorge. |
