Follow Hwy 401 to Kingston, and exit north on to Frontenac Rd 10 (Perth Road). Follow this very scenic road north for about 30 km, past Frontenac Provincial Park. You should be able to see Devil Lake on the left. Just a few kilometers further, watch for Tett Lane on the left. This is a short gravel loop road that rejoins the county road again about one kilometre to the north, but north of the bridge. The little cascade is on the left side of Tett Lane, just a few hundred metres beofre Tett Lane rejoins the county road.

 Description

This is a little cascade beside an old mill building. The mill building is now a private residence, and the lands around the falls are also private. The overall scene is very picturesque, although the waterfall itself is nothing special. Please don't stare into the neighbour's home!

The cascade is perhaps 5 to 7 meters in height, and a few meters wide. The little creek tumbles over an irregular bedrock surface that is covered with small boulders. I'm not sure of the source of the river cascading over this waterfall. The topographic map shows that a drainage channel allows Devil Lake to drain to Loon Lake, which is a drop of 9 meters. However, the waterfall is apparently fed from a little pond to the north, which is likely held back by a dam.

Be sure to continue north on the road for just a few more kilometers to Westport. This small community is a very pretty and popular tourist village.
