You must use maps to find waterfalls on this site!
All photos, directions and descriptions are delivered using Google Earth.  Visually discover waterfalls close to you or to your destination!  Get directions from anywhere!  Don't settle for my single photo - see photos uploaded by ~anyone~!  Click a waterfall point to get a description.

Google Earth is free to install (Download from Google - 50 MB), though it can be slow on some older computers.  I provide two alternatives below, though they are proving to be a little problematic.  Unless you have a very old computer, I highly recommend that you download Google Earth.   Even if you don't use my web page again, the program is great!

Google Maps (good...)
Google Earth Plugin (better...)
Google Earth (BEST!)
Option google maps
Google earth plugin

- can have slow navigation/scrolling
- can't see all the falls at once
- no driving directions
- no photos
- must install free GE software
- trouble on slower computers
- on a Mac, you need to dbl-click the downloaded kmz file.

Waterfalls can be dangerous places!  People have DIED at waterfalls in Ontario, including a terrible period in 2009 when 4 people died in a period of 4 days at waterfalls in Muskoka Mark Harris notifies you that the inclusion of a waterfall on this web site shall in no way represent any guarantee that it is safe to visit.  You are responsible for your own safety at all times!

Also, while we are very lucky that most waterfalls are located on public lands, there are a few that are on private property.  I have tried to avoid listing those waterfalls found on private property unless they can be seen from a public road.  Mark Harris notifies you that inclusion of a waterfall on this web site shall in no way represent permission to visit the property.  Please respect private property.

The physical and cultural landscape is always changing.  There is no guarantee that the wording on this web site (or sites to which it links) is correct!
