Scutum Star Cloud

This is about a 10 min exposure of the Milky Way, centring on the constallation of Scutum. This area is just above Saggitarius. Taken in the middle of July, 1996. 50mm Nikkor F1.4, Nikom FM, Vista tracker. Taken at the farm near Granton, Ont. Hypered Tech Pan, printed on Ilform Multigrade paper, scanned in at 100 dpi. This is my favourite area of the sky to take picutres.
