Lunar Eclipse - March 23rd, 1997

Presented are a series of 6 pictures of the advancing eclispe taken between 21:30 hrs and 23:30 hrs, EST. (GMT -5) Approx 90% or better of the moon was covered that night.

I shot these pictures from downtown London, Ont - light pollution hell. Telescope used was a 5" (12.5cm) F12 refractor, of unknown manufacturer. Film was AGFA 400 colour print film. Not the best film, a bit blueish in cast, but what I had on hand. Camera was a Nikon FM. Exposures ranged from 125th/sec to 15th/sec near the end.
