Step 1.

Enter gateway.2wire.net in the address bar and press Enter.

Step 2.

Enter the login password and click Submit. The default password is blank.

Step 3.

Choose your "Time Zone", click Save.

Step 4.

Click Broadband Link then Advanced Settings. Under DSL and ATM Settings, set "VPI" to 0 and "VCI" to 35. Set "Encapsulation" to Routed and "PVC Search" to Enabled. Under Broadband Network, set "Connection Type" to PPPoE (Username/Password). Enter your username and password. Select Obtain IP Automatically and Obtain DNS Automatically. Set "Upstream MTU" to 1492 and then click Save.

Step 5.

Click Home Network then Wireless Settings. Enter a "Network Name", set the "Wireless Channel" to Auto, set "SSID Broadcast" to Enable. Set "Authentication" to Wep-Open, click Use Custom Encryption Key and enter a "Key" using alphanumeric characters (remember this password). Click Save.
